The 2010 Crunchies is our fourth annual competition and award ceremony to recognize and celebrate the most compelling startups, internet and technology innovations of the year.
The Crunchies is co-hosted by GigaOm, VentureBeat, and TechCrunch. Best of all, the internet community is invited to choose who wins.
The Crunchies award ceremony takes place on Friday, January 21, 2010 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco with the ceremony beginning at 7:30 pm. It’s an elegant, 1000-seat theater that has played home to presidential debates, among others, just the type of setting to give the Crunchies the air of importance they deserve. Crunchies General Admission tickets will be released in December.
Following the Crunchies Awards, the Exploratorium will provide an intellectually stimulating and festive playground for this year’s after party. As always there will be a hosted bar, hors d’oeuvres, casino game room, and other fun entertainment and surprises.
The after party begins immediately following the ceremony at 9 pm until 11:30 pm. Admission to the party is included with a purchase of an Awards Ceremony ticket.

The Palace of Fine Arts Theater and Exploratorium are located in the landmark Palace of Fine Arts building in San Francisco’s Marina district, off of Highway 101 near the Golden Gate Bridge. Free parking is available in adjacent lots.
