This year’s fourth annual Crunchies was a rousing success, and we’d like to offer our sincere congratulations to all the finalists and winners! Twitter took home the best startup of 2010 award and Andrew Mason won Best CEO of 2010 — to name just a few of the many highlights. It was an exciting night for all involved, and if you’d like to catch some of those memorable moments, you can view the video highlights here.
Of course, we couldn’t have done it without the help of our sponsors. So a big thank you to our partner sponsor, Tagged, which hosted the red carpet and press photos with support from LiveShare by Cooliris. You can check out their photo stream of red carpet arrivals and after-party activities here.
Our gratitude to UStream for streaming the event. 10,000 people watched the live stream on-line and 1,000 live in the theater!
The incredible pianist ELEW performed at the afterparty compliments of Mailchimp, and Red Bull supplied the evening’s ‘energy’ with beverages and top talent, like DJ Platurn.
Big thank you to Microsoft BizSpark for providing Xbox 360/Kinect and HTC Windows Phone 7 giveaways and hosting the Kinect lounge at the after-party.
JiWire hosted a creative photo booth during the after party; be sure to check out all the great photos here.
You can also listen to Jonathan Mann’s “Crunchies Song,” which the YouTube sensation created specially for the event here.
Thanks, too, go out to the Crunchies 2010 Award Benefactors, who made quite a few of those beautiful chimps possible:
MailChimp, whose Amy Ellis presented the Best Internet Application award to Pandora.
Microsoft® BizSpark’s Dan’l Lewin presented the Best Bootstrapped Startup award to Addmired.
SecondMarket’s Jeff Thomas presented the Best Technology Achievement Award to Google’s self-driving cars.
Greg Tseng of Tagged presented the Founder of the Year award to Mark Pincus.
Ustream’s John Ham presented the Best Mobile Application to Google Maps for Android.
Hamid Shojaee of TransferBigFiles presented the CEO of the Year award to Andrew Mason of Groupon.
And to our Food & Beverage Contributors:
Cocktails were hosted by SVEDKA vodka and wine by eco.love. PopChips and Red Vines served some tasty snacks.
